Boys Teams

Prairie Village is open to boys 1st - 8th grade in the Shawnee Mission area.  Players funnel in from the surrounding shawnee mission public and parochial schools.  Players feed the following high school programs: Lancers and Rockhurst.  Teams are formed by grade level and experience.

1st & 2nd Grade Boys

This is the foundation of Prairie Village Lacrosse!

The 1/2 grade division is a learning division and is designed to introduce young players to the game of lacrosse. The children will play short-sided games (4v4) on small fields with simplified rules.

Practices - Tuesday/Thursday practices begin early March.  Practices run 60 minutes.  Times and Locations to be finalized early Winter.

Games - Weekend games held at either Blue Valley North HS or surrounding schools.  Games begin after Spring break and end mid May with a tournament.

Uniform - Details Coming Soon!

Equipment - helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, stick, mouth guard, cleats (View) *equipment may be found at Bar Down Sports Co (87th street), Dicks Sporting Goods, or Play it again sports, also view our swap shop page.

US Lacrosse Membership is required to participate.  This is  supplemental insurance required by the league. Visit www.usalacrosse.com/membership

The 3/4 grade division provides a team setting for new and experienced players.  This group focuses on introducing full field fundamentals and concepts.
